In September 2025, Six Magazine hit a major milestone: we were named a Top 100 idea in the Start Garden competition. Demo Day wasn’t about winning, it was about showing our vision, connecting with the entrepreneurial community, and proving that what we’re building truly matters.
Being part of the Top 100 was a moment of validation. It confirmed that our mission: spotlighting artists, innovators, and the creative Midwest, isn’t just needed; it’s demanded.
Demo Day gave us the chance to put our idea front and center, tell our story, and show that Six Magazine is more than a publication, it’s a movement.
The path to that day wasn’t easy. Pitching, refining, and growing a business takes energy, grit, and the courage to treat every challenge as a lesson. Every mentor conversation, every late-night brainstorm, every piece of feedback was a reminder that entrepreneurship is about momentum, not instant recognition.
And the momentum we’ve gained? It’s real. The support from our community, from fellow Top 100 peers to mentors, readers, and creatives cheering us on, reminds us that this is bigger than any single moment.
Demo Day wasn’t a finish line. It was a signal: Six Magazine is moving forward, shaping culture, amplifying voices, and documenting creativity in real time. We didn’t just showcase an idea, we built visibility, strengthened our vision, and proved that the creative movement we’re championing is unstoppable.
Top 100 is just the beginning. The journey continues, and the momentum only grows from here.
